Finding the arches on Phillip Street
We are the long brick shed on the river side, with the loading bay still bricked into the frontage and a single lamp over the door.
The council car park behind is free after six, and the station is a seven-minute walk if the lights are kind.
The riverside path passes the back wall, which is the pleasant way to arrive and the dark way to leave — take the street instead.

What to expect when you ring
Is it too late for tonight?
Ring up to eight — later than that only if a long table has come free.
Deposit?
None taken, ever. A call books it and a call cancels it.
Can I hold a card table?
The two long ones, for up to eight people each.
Bigger groups?
Up to forty on a Monday, with a fortnight's notice.
