Who carries the responsibility

The complete list
- A booking: your first name, a phone number, a date, a time and a headcount.
- An email enquiry: your address and the text of what you sent, used to reply and nothing more.
- Kitchen and bar records, kept because tax and liquor licensing require them.
- Page view totals for this website, counted in aggregate with no individual profile built.
When it goes
- Bookings are deleted twelve months after the date they were made for.
- Email threads go twelve months after the last message in them.
- Financial records are kept seven years because the law says so.
- Website totals are kept thirteen months and never tied to a person.
What you can ask for, and from whom
Can I see what you hold?
Yes. Ask at the desk or by email and we will send it back in whatever form is easiest.
Can it be corrected, or removed?
Both. Corrections are immediate; deletion happens unless the law requires us to keep a record.
Who else gets it?
Our host and our bookkeeper, both under confidentiality obligations. Nobody beyond those two, and not one line of it is sold.
What if I am not happy with the answer?
Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We will not take it personally.
